Students are encouraged to take advantage of the many services the library has to offer. The law library can offer you a quiet place for research and study, collaborative space as well as group study rooms. Experienced librarians will work with you to teach you the skills you will need to perform effective and efficient research for success in law school and practice.

What's New

Study Rooms / Conference Rooms

Study rooms / Conference Rooms in the library are always in high demand!

Currently, Study rooms / Conference Rooms are only being reserved for Bar Prep, Academic Success Fellows, special accommodations, and Legal Methods and ILA conferences.  Please be sure to check the study room / conference room door for any existing day / hour limitations before using the room.  There is currently no other reservation system in place.

Unless otherwise noted by signage, study rooms / conference rooms are available on a first-come first-served basis.

How to Print

Printing From Library Computers 

  1. Send a print job from any library computer to the default printer. 
  2. Give your print job a name, that is how you will identify it in the print queue. You also have the option of giving your print job a password 
  3. Go to a copier on the first floor of the library. Swipe your Widener ID Card at the small touch screen next to the copier. 
  4. Select your print job and print. Be sure to select the correct print job. You will not be reimbursed if you release the wrong print job. 
  5. Print jobs will expire after 30 minutes. 

Mobile Printing from Email or Print Center 

Before you use mobile printing you must activate your account by swiping your student ID in the touch screen device next to a library photocopier. You only need to do this once. 

  • Email
    • attach your document to an email addressed to: pmobileprint@widener.edu
    • The email MUST come from a widener email address.
    • Mac only file types are not supported. 
    • You will get an email when your job is ready to print. 
  • Print Center 
    • Go to printcenter.widener.edu 
    • Login with your Widener username and password. 
    • Upload the document you want to print. Your document is ready to print. 
    • You can change the print options (double sided, etc.). There is no color copying. 
  • Go to a copier on the first floor of the library. Swipe your Widener ID Card at the small touch screen next to the copier. 
  • Select your print job and print. Be sure to select the correct print job. You will not be reimbursed if you release the wrong print job. 
  • Print jobs will expire after 30 minutes. 

Print Fees 

  • 8 cents per page. 
  • You get $32 per semester of print funds automatically.
