Social Work and Nursing: Harrisburg: Welcome

Getting Started

Social Work and Nursing students will do most of their researching in LibCat/WebPac or in databases maintained by the main campus.

E-res is electronic reserves. Your professors can place photocopies on reserve for you to download. Click on E-res from the Wolfgram Library homepage. Click on E-res and then on the Electronic Reserves Course Page. Then enter professor name or department to find e-res.

To begin your search go to LibCat, the library catalog by clicking HERE

You will use WebPac to search for books and journals located in the Widener libraries. For books located in Delaware (D) or Chester  (M) or for articles in journals housed on the other campuses, use Interlibrary Loan (ILLIAD) to request the item. For books not owned in the Widener system use ILLiad. Use ILLiad for articles from journals not owned by the Widener Libraries or available fulltext online.

Subject LibGuides done by Wolfgram Library

Librarians at the Wolfgram Library have created Subject Guides. Remember that print resources mentioned in these guides are located in Chester and may be sent to you through interlibrary loan.
