Animal Law Research: Animal Laws by State

State by State Resources

         - The ASPCA, one of the oldest animal walfare organization in the United States, features an interactive map which guides users to state resources. Users can select different states to obtain information on current animal welfare laws and proposed legislation.

         - This website, run by the MSU School of Law, provides a comprehensive list of resources & databases concerning all aspects of animal rights laws. This site also features a helpful search tool which allows users to narrow topics by state, topic, legal material, species of animal etc.          

         - Serving both the United States & Canada, the ALDF provides an interactive map allowing users to search by country, province or state.
