This guide provides an introduction to statutes, administrative regulations, court rules, websites, and treatises available for Delaware legal research.

Accessing Materials: At the Widener Law Library most Delaware materials are located in the state section at the back of the second floor. The general call number for Delaware materials is KFD. Materials on Reserve may be obtained from the Circulation desk. Items in the Archives must be requested from the Reference Desk.

Some of the databases linked in this guide are subscription databases. Access to these subscription databases is available to current Widener students, faculty and staff only. Access is available to these individuals on the Widener campus and remotely from off campus.

LEXIS & WESTLAW- all Widener JD, MJ and LLM students have an individual LEXIS and WESTLAW password. If you have trouble with your password please contact Lexis or Westlaw.

Other databases - You may be prompted for your name and library barcode number when accessing other data bases from off campus. The library barcode number is the long number in small type printed on the back of your Widener ID.
